Home care after a stroke
Home care after a stroke in Surrey & Berkshire: help coming home from hospital, personal care, mobility and rebuilding confidence. Free assessment.

Living with stroke
A stroke happens when the blood supply to part of the brain is cut off. Its effects depend on which part of the brain was affected and can include weakness on one side, difficulty speaking, tiredness and changes in memory or mood.
Recovery can continue for months or longer. Good support at home can help someone follow the exercises from their therapists and rebuild confidence at their own pace.

Common questions
How quickly can care start after a stroke?
We can usually arrange live-in care within 24 hours, and emergency care in as little as 2–5 days from your care assessment. Tell the hospital discharge team you are speaking to us.
