Evelyn had a successful People professional career for over
10 years. Evelyn brings with her a vast wealth of experience working in Human
Resources at Sainsbury`s, Waterstones, The NHS as well as working in Adult
education with Newham college.
In 2015,Evelyn, joined the caring profession providing community-based
care in Brent and Re-enablement, Live in and End of Life care in Surrey.
These experiences cemented Evelyn`s desire to remain in the
care sector through the Joy that she experienced when her client`s returned to
full health after a period of rehabilitation or the support and comfort that
she offered to End of Life Clients and their next of kin when they deteriorated
or grieving Families when they passed on.
These different experiences though challenging in many
aspects led Evelyn to believe that not only was this the right profession for
her it was also the only one she wanted to stay in.
This combined experience of caring for people as well her Human
Resource experience makes Evelyn the perfect person to Lead the organisation`s
People Strategy by ensuring that our service and people strategies are
completely aligned because, ``Without a happy, trained and confident workforce,
you cannot deliver excellent service``. Our workforce is the bread and butter
to our customers satisfaction.
Evelyn comments, ``My, 2021/2022 priorities are
to work with the different teams to recruit a market leading workforce to
ensure that they are remunerated competitively and ethically as well as
retained.
I will also ensure that I direct and provide
the right people solutions to the right business priorities at the right time.
